Ocean View Terrace Inn has stood on the shores of Shinnecock Bay for seven decades. But the story of how it became what it is today is really a love story.
In 2017, Yanni and Adrianna found each other. What started as a long-distance relationship between New York and Florida became something much bigger when the opportunity arose to purchase the inn from Yanni's grandparents. They took the leap. Adrianna left everything she knew in Florida and moved to Hampton Bays to build a life together.
What followed was years of blood, sweat, and tears. They gutted rooms. They re-gutted rooms. They tackled massive renovations with the help of family, their incredible housekeeping team, and a contractor who became like family. Every corner of this property carries the mark of two people who refused to give up on each other or on this place.
This year, we celebrate 70 years of Ocean View Terrace Inn — and we want to hear your love story, too.

Official Rules
Eligibility. Open to legal US residents age 21 and older. Employees of Ocean View Terrace Inn and their immediate family members are not eligible.
Entry Period. The contest begins on the date this page is published and ends October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
Entry Fee. $7 per entry via Zelle. One entry per person. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
How to Enter. Pay the $7 entry fee via Zelle, then complete the entry form on this page with your love story (500 words or fewer) and your Zelle transaction ID.
Prize. One (1) winner will receive a complimentary 2-night stay in a standard room for up to four (4) guests during the 2027 season. Subject to availability. Excludes suites. Blackout dates include Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July weekend, Palm Tree Festival weekend, Labor Day weekend, and other major events as determined by Ocean View Terrace Inn. Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value.
Winner Selection. The winner will be selected by Yanni and Adrianna based on their favorite submitted love story. The winner will be announced in December 2026 and notified via email.
Rights. By submitting an entry, you grant Ocean View Terrace Inn the right to use your submitted story for marketing and promotional purposes.
General. Ocean View Terrace Inn reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest at any time for any reason. All decisions regarding winner selection are final.
